Paolo has gained extensive professional experience with family enterprises and family-owned businesses in all industries and of all sizes in Europe, the Middle East, and Asia.

His consultancy focuses on sucecssion, family and business governance, strategy, and leadership development to help nextgen reach their full potential. He also serves as a board member for several multi-business and multi-national firms and is a speaker and moderator at conferences on topics related to family business strategies.

Since 2000 he has taught at Bocconi University in Milan. He currently lecturers on Corporate Strategy and Strategic Management of Family Businesses. He is Senior Lecturer at SDA Bocconi School of Management where he run the Executive MBA program and has been Director of the Strategic and Entrepreneurial Management Department.

Paolo collaborates with the Italian Association of Family Businesses and the Family Business Network International. He is a Fellow of the Family Firm Institute (FFI).

He is co-author of the book 'Le Vie della crescita. Corporate Strategy e diversificazione'  published in 2018 by EGEA and translated into English in 2020 under the title 'Corporate Strategy for a Sustainable Growth.'

He is the editor of the book 'Family business: costruire un futuro sostenibile. Dialoghi fra imprenditori e accademici' published in 2023 by Rubettino Editore, an initiative of AIDAF, the Italian Association of Family Businesses.
